For wedding cakes there is never too much notice! In general we recommend securing your cake as soon as possible after you confirm your date and your desired venue. At Stella Pumpkin we require a £100 deposit which is non refundable to secure your desired date, where your private wedding cake consultations will be held at my commercial cake studio where the finer details as well as tastings will be discussed. Private consultations are charged at £10pp – All consultation costs will be fully deducted from any wedding cake order.
Yes, but with limitations as per my Ts & Cs. Any wedding cake order cancelled within the 8 weeks of the desired date will be final; any cancelations made out-with the 8 week period will be refunded any payments made minus the non refundable deposit.

At Stella Pumpkin we are passionate about taste as much as appearance as cakes are designed to be eaten, therefore the ingredients we use are high end materials and where possible locally sourced to guarantee traceability and ensure the freshest finest tasting cakes possible. There are many attributes that contribute to a cakes cost such as flavor choice, design, portion size and level of sugar craft detail required. With this in mind each Stella Pumpkin creation is individually priced based on the criteria supplied by you the customer, however there is many ways and variations to have a stunning Stella Pumpkin cake creation whatever your budget so please get in touch for a consultation to discuss the options further.
This is just about an never ending question! Flavour choice is so unique and choices really are endless, at Stella Pumpkin we will try to accompany your choice wherever possible. Our signature and most popular flavours are referenced below but these are not restricted or limited. If you have a flavour in mind that isn’t below, then we would be delighted to run samples prior to confirmation. All Stella Pumpkin cakes are covered with a thick layer of creamy Belgian chocolate ganache prior to fondant covering, this ensures a flawless finish and contemporary straight edge feel to the design as well as enhancing the cake’s flavour. Of course, if your design / taste requirement doesn’t suit our chocolate ganache, then we can use flavoured butter cream or premium marzipan in a traditional fruit cake.

Succulent, Moist and made with the finest Swiss dark chocolate our chocolate sponge cake really is an ‘ALL-IN’ option, this can be enjoyed with a cookies ‘n’ cream, Smooth Peanut Butter, Rich chocolate or creamy white chocolate butter cream.
Our Lemon sponge cake is very light and beautifully balanced, if required this can be accompanied by adding poppy seeds to enhance flavor and texture. For the filling this sponge goes really well with our fresh Lemon zest butter cream or Sicilian Lemon and Ginger conserve.
Traditional recipe that just tastes like Christmas with every mouthful, with its spices, dried fruit and cherries soaked for weeks in Courvoiser Cognac and recovered several times post bake along with a generous layer of premium marzipan and icing it really does leave that subtle taste of winter.
We recommend with every wedding cake you allow us to take care of the stress of delivering your cake to ensure it is set up perfectly. Depending on the venue distance there may be a small delivery charge, but this will be discussed at the original consultation. You are of course welcome to collect your cake, and we will ensure it is appropriately packaged. It is recommended that your cake be transported on a flat surface (not on a car seat!!). Please ensure the collection vehicle has adequate space available as cakes are fragile and easily damaged in transit. Stella Pumpkin can take no responsibility for damaged cakes after collection; every cake is photographed prior to packaging.
